Brow Lift Houston and Lake Jackson, TX

As time goes by, you may find your overall appearance beginning to betray your age. Gravity and other factors can cause your brow and forehead to sag, giving you a concerned or tired look. For Houston and Lake Jackson individuals who want to regain their youthful brow position, a brow lift may be worth considering. Our doctors at Town and Country Plastic Surgeons are pleased to offer brow lift surgery as a solution to correct a sagging brow and minimize forehead creases.

About Brow Lift Surgery

Also referred to as a forehead lift, a brow lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that addresses the upper third of the face; the area above the eyes. Excess and sagging skin is removed from the forehead. In addition, the underlying muscles and tissues are repositioned. Some brow lifts are designed to reduce deep brow furrows as well as lifting the eyebrows and distinctly improving contour to the region. A brow lift gives Houston and Lake Jackson patients a brighter, renewed appearance that still looks like them, only more refreshed.

What to Expect

A brow lift procedure is typically done on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia, though sometimes intravenous sedation combined with local anesthetic is used. Surgery length depends on the procedure being performed. Staples or sutures are used to close incisions. These will be removed about a week following the surgery. Tightness with slight discomfort will be felt afterward, and our doctors will provide aftercare instructions. Houston and Lake Jackson patients can typically resume their regular daily routine two to three weeks after surgery.
