Crystal Foundation Giving Back

The Crystal Foundation was founded in 1993 as a means of pursuing our dream to bring reconstructive surgery to children of families who do not have alternate means. The foundation was initially designed to fund our Children of Mexico Project, but the scope of the foundation has been broadened to provide care for the less fortunate children in the United States as well. It is our desire that children with congenital malformations do not have to live their lives with disabling deformities. Most of our surgeries are performed to correct cleft lip and palate as well as congenital hand deformities, allowing affected children to lead normal lives. The Mexican government and Rotary have provided a clinic for our use in Guerrero, Mexico. Our core surgical team consists of plastic surgeons, anesthesia professionals, several nurses and medical assistants. Through the Crystal Foundation, these dedicated men and women make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
